SurveyMonkey is a web tool for online surveys: customer feedback, market research, event planning, and more. It is easy enough for anyone to build questionnaires with custom questions or items from its question bank.

Co-founded by Expedia and Zillow co-founder Rich Barton, Glassdoor has since 2007 given candidates first-hand views of workplaces. Employees anonymously share how big employers run hiring, plus role pros and cons and salary ranges.
