If you have used up username changes on your Facebook profile, many people already know the trick of moving your current username to one of your Pages so you can pick a new one.

Now the real issue.
After moving the username, many people trying to set a new one hit:
Error: This username has already been changed too many times.
If you see that, you can use the email support Facebook gives businesses and Pages in Ads Manager to have the username assigned to your profile.
IMPORTANT: IF EMAIL SUPPORT DOES NOT SHOW ON YOUR PAGE, RUN A SMALL 2-3 TL AD FOR ANY PAGE. A FEW HOURS AFTER THE AD, THAT SECTION USUALLY APPEARS.
1- As in the screenshot, open Manage Ads, then Email Support on the page that opens.
2- On the form, under What is your question about?, choose None of the above and fill in your details.
What is your name?
-Your full name-
What is your email address?
-Any email is accepted.-
What is your phone number?
-Your phone-
What is your business name?
-You can write your Page name.-

This part matters. Explain that your profile has no username and name the handle you want. Sample text:
Hello,
I have been having trouble setting a username on my Facebook profile for a while. When I try to take the available username: xxxxx (write the username you want) I keep getting the error “This username has already been changed too many times.” If you can assign the username above to me from your side I would be very glad.
Have a good day…
Then submit the form.
3- Waiting for Facebook’s email and talking with the agent…
Within a day at most, a Facebook agent emails asking for more info so they can help. Below are page-by-page screenshots of my exchange. Read carefully and send what they ask with care. Language matters here too, because you are talking to a person, not a bot, and in my case a fellow Turk 🙂.
