The Yurtici Kargo mess

Yurtici Kargo's Kirikkale branch answered once to insult me, never delivered, and left a fake notice. Avoid them.

First, thanks to Yurtici Kargo’s shameless Kirikkale branch, indifferent call-center staff, and social-media managers whose job is unclear, for driving me mad enough to write this.

In the previous post I reviewed a Romoss power bank. Webdenal.com, the seller, was attentive and solid; their courier choice was not. Istanbul to Kirikkale normally takes a day. My parcel, shipped the day before, was logged at the Kirikkale branch around 11:30 yesterday and put on delivery. From 12:07 to 12:47 I called; branch staff bothered to answer once. When I said I had an important appointment and asked when the parcel would arrive, I learned delivery starts from outside the city. When I said I live downtown and every other courier starts there, I got: “Are we supposed to learn it from you, huh?” Yes, a national courier agent said that to me, word for word. When I answered that yes, if needed you will learn it, the so-called agent piled on with “Who do you think you are?” and similar bottom-of-the-barrel rudeness, then after I pushed back hung up with “Dear brother, I’ll call my friend right away, they’ll bring yours first.” Of course it never came, and no one called again. Waiting, I phoned the call center twice; all they could do was open complaint tickets. I am still waiting on those two. Around 17:30 tracking flipped to address visited, unreachable, notice left. I went down to the building door: no notice. Nobody rang; no note; the parcel was back at the branch. Pure Kirikkale-branch incompetence. The call center opened a third ticket. Today I went to pick it up myself. I was alone in the branch and phones that rang went unanswered. While they spent ten minutes hunting my parcel I even called the branch from my mobile; it rang, nobody picked up. A truly nauseating brand failure… Through all of it, nothing from their social accounts on Twitter. They could at least have built a pink-lie team that DMs “send your number, we’ll reach you.” My advice: do not work with Yurtici Kargo, do not choose them on online checkouts, send with someone else. I know I am not the only victim; below are some tweets at them. Even I blushed reading them; I hope the brand does too.

Note 1: The tweets below were posted in the last 5 hours.

Note 2: I checked the last week and could not find a single thank-you tweet. If I had, I would have posted it.
